Was underneath the car this weekend and I noticed there is a crack on the lower portion of my oil pump cover where the bolt threads in the side. Someone overtightend the bolt and cracked the housing. Oil is leaking out of that area pretty badly so I don't want to run the car for now. How hard is it going to be for me get another one of those covers? I'm trying some JB Weld on the crack but I can tell the bolt isn't going to want to seat tightly. Any help appreciated. I want to minimize downtime on the car. Thanks!
i can get one from a 66 300 if that helps. its on the motor yet and i don't own the motor myself but the guy is parting it. the motor only has 66,000 on it so it should be good. never been taken apart. let me know if you want me to get a price on it ghildebrand@wi.rr.com
