Glen at www.carshipperusa.com promised everything was no problem. The price to ship was average, no great deal. The driver delivered, giving me less than 3 hours notice, not the "at least 12 hours" as promised. To add insult to injury, the promised "door to door" delivery was actually a church parking lot about 6 to 8 miles away from my door. The driver told me to go find a rollback to get it the rest of the way and unloaded the car. If the car wasn't a GS Riv, then I would have told him to keep it. I have moved a dozen cars and have never had this unfortunate experience. Oh well, for the love of a Buick. Dan
Dan,are you planning to part that '65 GS? Too bad I wasn't going up that way,I would have dropped it at your door. I am kind of hanging around home because of the high gas pricing right now. I looked that Riv over at a local swap meet, but felt like it was way over priced.Glad you got it for a good deal!
His original price was stiff. The auction price was pretty fair, so I am happy. Transport, well that is another issue, but....:spank: Dan
