You'll need to find a donor manual car to get the pedals ,z bar, bellhousing, etc. Or.... you might watch e-bay parts section, sometimes someone has a whole conversion set up on there. If you go with the 455 Buick you'll most likely have the least trouble changing to a Muncie, and the 300 might mate to a Borg Warner better. Unless you really want to dump some money in a race quality 5-speed I'd stick with the original equipment type 4 speed.

First you need to decide what Engine you are going to use. Parts between Chevy and BOP are different for 68-72 A-bodies. I assume this holds true for 1967 as well

    This includes the pedals.

Parts between small blocks and big blocks are different.

1967 Linkages are different than the 68-72.

Also get a service manual or assembly manual or parts book so you can see the illustrated drawings of the parts it takes.

If you want a bolt in system with no fab work then you have a lot of homework to do. You mention a Hydraulic system, this may be the way to go for you if you do some fabrication work.

Looking thru through the master parts catalog it apperas the 1967 setup is more related to the 66 special than the 65-66 Skylark/Gran Sport. Thus being the difference between a nailhead 401 and a small block 300 would be my guess.

A Muncie, Borg Warner Super T10 or a Tremec 5 speed will all have the proper input shaft. Spline count will differ which means you have to select the proper clutch disc is all.

    Good Luck

If you're not worried about true OEM, try The Parts Place or The Original Parts Group. I pretty much gaot all my parts from these to withe exception of bellhousing, trans., and pedals. I do believe one them did have the pedals also. I didn't get my flywheel there but I think one of them carries those to.
