morning all: I have a 5" Auto Meter monster tach which has worked well for many years. just recently it went dead as in no life at al. sent it back to AM and they repaired it. In the meantime I installed a old Sun tach from the 70s and it worked perfecty. AM repaired the 5" and Ii reinstalled it . Worked great for 1 hour fluttered and died. Sent t back to AM for repair.Al l The time using tHe old Sun tach. AM kept the 5" for 2 weeks and found nothing wrong with it. got it installed and it lasted 1 hour and died.I immieatly installed SUN and it works perfectly. What gives????????? all new wiring for both tachs. put the 5" in a box on the shelf and don't plan on using it again. any one need a 5" Auto Meter Tach cheap?
