I have been working with a local machine shop on this for a while and am now ready to to start taking orders. If you have a stripped out handle on your Suncoupe (especially if you have a reproduction handle) this splined bushing will fix the problem. The price is $35.00 and that includes shipping to the lower 48. This is for the bushing only, you will need to have your handle machined to accept it. If we have enough quantity the shop I am working may provide machining your handle if you want to send it to me, I do not have a quote on that yet. This bushing was designed using the mechanism in my top as the model, so it may require tweeking to fit your top due to individual wear. If you need one just reply here with the quantity, I will let this run for a week or so and then submit the total for production. At that time I will provide an update and payment info.
My handle is snapped off like most,cheap pot metal are you doing a complete replacement handle like Poston used to sell?
Jon, if your going to be in BG bring me a couple if not let me know and I'll send you the money. Thanks We still need to make the whole handle head. The pivot lever never breaks. With this bushing and an old handle I should be able to have the rest done.
