Hi All, I have a coworker that is having troubles with his 94 LeSabre. When driving home from work , the Change engine oil soon light came on, and about 1 minute later the engine quit. This is the second time it has happened. Will it have thrown a code? Did it shut down because it thought the oil level was low? Any ideas??? Engine is a 3.8. Thanks in advance , Adam.
change oil light... that indicator is entirely separate from from any ignition / driveability systems on the car. If the service engine soon light came on there may be a code stored or current.
