I hope someone from here can make the cut. Hemmings is looking for some Rivieras to feature in the new mag. Check this thread for info http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32999
I guess us east coast guys are out of luck? It would be pretty cool if the board gets a mention :Brow: in the article! Hope one of makes the cut. Jason
While it is a great opportunity, I doubt any of us would qualify. Don't most of us have our cars modified for performance? Tom Telesco is probably the only one who even comes close to this. Bob Bonto of the ROA with his Stage1 Boattail, too. He's looking for Rivs "of a performance bent--no two-barrel engines, wire hubcaps, etc." Well, there were never any 2-barrel Rivs produced - unless the post-76 Rivs had them. o No: He wants "legitimate competition histories - it's the mechanical bits I'm hoping to keep on the original side" I doubt anyone would Race a Riv in cometition and never modify it. He doesn't want "vehicles with non-original wheels, bodywork (ie skirts, Continental kits, lake pipes), radios etc or full-on race sportsman-type vehicles" This rules out nearly all of us too. Even if I had my interior redone, I'm still lightyears away from what this guy wants. Good luck to him. Hope he finds what he wants.
