Does anyone know how to determine top dead center on the ATI balancer. And why don't it fit the stock timing tab? And what is the diameter of it
I believe the balancer is 7"s. It will fit a stock timing tab with some grinding of course. The balancer is mark a full 360 degrees.
Be careful with the grinding, the timing tab is hollow, you may break through. Do not grind to remove the edge all the way to the timing cover, just remove part of the tip where the calibration marks are embossed. Check for fit, remove more if necessary. Dan 69 GS hardtop swp 68 GS ragtop 4-spd
