"General Motors Corp. will invest $80 million in its Saginaw Metal Casting plant to produce a new all-aluminum V8 engine block beginning in the second half of 2006. " http://www.auto.com/industry/gm19_20021119.htm
over 450 hp? As I was reading that article, I could just imagine driving down the highway and seeing some moron driving their SUV, talking on a cell phone. While, not paying any attention to what's around them, driving carelessly, and having over 450hp under there foot. Man, that's scary! I wonder when the insurance companies will raise the premium's from the high horsepower they're puting in these everyday-use vehicles? Rob
I think the premiums should be raised on SUVs, not HP dominated vehicles. I see waaaay less HP cars driving like jackasses than I do SUVs.
