For a 72 Skylark passenger rear side, the piece that is spot welded to the quarter panel. Mine is rusted out in front and back of wheel well housing, if anybody can help I will be glad to pick it up in a 5 hour radius:beer
    Thanks,
    Chip

    Guys,
Duane doesn't have any more for sale right now, the supply was VERY limited. They don't grow on trees.

As the price will tell you! But worth the money for all the work involved in getting them off

The panel that Duane had were they new?

I don't think so. The only new one I know of is owned by Rusty Davenport and it would take a large sum of money to get it from him.

BTW-At one time he had a set

    No,
They were used Southern pieces from 4-doors, and were the same as 2-door coupes.

    Chip,

I have one off a southern car that I think is pretty usable. It is bent up a little on the outer lip and is cut in one spot. But it could easily be used with a little straightening. If could send pics if you send me your e-mail address. I also have the driver's side which includes the inner and outer wheel houses still attached together and also still has the filler piece too. Let me know!

I have a silly thought here. What about adapting something that has similar curvature? I was parked behind a bodyshop today and they had a Dodge Ram bedside out back. Made me wonder if any junk truck wheelwells are similar. Or how about a G body spare tire well? Just thinking out loud here.

Its not a silly thought, its a good one. I tried a olds cutlass one and a chevelle one (they were parts for other customer cars in the shop) and neither one was close enough to use. About the same work just to repair mine (72 gs ragtop) with new metal.

Perhaps another vehicle might work but those two didn't(ragtops have a flat area on top of wheelhouse but that wasn't a concern at the time).

    Just some info for you.

    Later
    Tim

If there is anything you need from that let me know. i think the panel you need is on that car. i can take a pic of it if you don't remember it. I don't live to far from you so if you have a torch it can be cut out. will talk price if you want it. you know that i don't want to much for it anyway........Mike
