Back home. Went surprisingly well. Now trying to get a return call from any of the 3 US doctors to get her in to see them......and the battle to get Blue Cross to reimburse us. Total cost (our Visa card) was $6100 for everything including surgeon's fee. Unbelievable......probably 10 times that here. (5 days in the hospital). Flight attendant said a lot of US people are going to places like Aruba, St Martin, etc. for surgeries rather than in the US because of cost. Can easily save enough to cover the flights, and recupe time in one of the nice resorts. Works for me..... Thanks to all for the well wishes. I think it really helped. She's in great spirits, tough old bird.........itching to get back to work......tax season....
