Are these the correct frame pads?

I bought these from TA a few months ago. I have a 67 GS California and I'm swapping in a 455.

    Thanks!

They look correct but looks can be deceiving. They are not the same as the 68-72 cars so that's what I'm basing it on. Test a motor mount to see if it sits on it for width and depth.

The key is the two mounting options, 68-72+ do not have that feature.

Looks like you have them installed to move engine forward slightly, actually stock location for more firewall clearance (use inner set of holes for more header clearance). You absolutely need to use the short water pump no matter which frame holes you use, but there are pros and cons to which frame holes you use.

years ago when I changed mine from a 400 to a 462 I narrowed the front cross member so I could have clearance to run kb headers, later used the same headers on my 71 riv,had to modify the trans mount so the collectors would fit

Hey! Yeah, I used the firewall clearance rear holes, worked out great.

Its been slow going though - young family and 50+ hour work week are my excuses.
    Then I bought a 38 Buick Special..

The front holes move the engine back towards the firewall. For more clearance at the firewall you use the rear holes - its close to the stock location.

    Love the 38!!!
