Im trying to track down parts for my 71 lesabre and want to know what all interchanges. Anyone know or have such a magic book?
The old school HOLLANDER interchange manual. Wish I knew anybody that still had one...There was one place about five miles away, but the old man died about two years ago, and the family went and sold the remaining vehicles for scrap metal. There weren't too many old school cars as it were, but he HAD the books, and I'm not 'in the know' with the family. Everything has gone digital, and dropped the old stuff...
Front fenders or any body panels for that matter, do not interchange between Electra and LeSabre. The Electra is longer in the nose by 3 inches.
That was true in the 60's Marc but the 71 up they will interchange. The portholes were in the hood, not the fenders too (except for Centurion's which had no portholes....). Fenders, inner fenders, core supports will all interchange, at least in '71-'72.
Steve, I have the 1954 to 1979 Hollander books plus the 1966 to 1989 Hollander parts identifier book, so PM me when you have a question :TU:
