Here is a look at some ported intake and exh. runers with the CC. valves were just setting in them that way for a project I was doing. I know its kinda old thread but someone might like a look at them.:TU:
That is cool. What material is that? I am kinda shocked at the exhaust, Tom T always complained but seeing this makes all kinds of sense.ou:
Hi Ted, Its a 2 part compound mixed together and it turns into a rubber that stretches and you pull it out of the runner.
Thanks for posting the pics! Can you imagine how it would flow if Buick had put the exhaust on the other side?!! Hemi Nailhead! Does the exhaust flow stay near the roof of the port, or turn down to the bottom? Tom mentioned it once. Simon's work with the Engine analyzer Pro software was impressive. He got a near perfect match with the stock Inline-6 Jeep 4.0 engine, but stopped posting before he got to the modified versions such as the 4.6 stroker engine. Here's his Jeep thread: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=631 I picked up a '01 Cherokee last year and put a stroker crank in it.:bglasses:
