I'm putting a M22 behind my 425 and was wondering if anyone has used one of there bell housing. Thanks
I have one of their adapters to attach my 425 nailhead to a 700R4. It works great and everything fit perfectly.
ive heard some people had issues with martys not lining up perfect but his price sure is alot better. me personally i have no clue. o No:
I have making this bellhousing and selling them for about 7 years now. I use one personally and if there is ever any issue with any of my products return it for an exchange or a refund. I test fit every one of my bellhousing to an actual block before they are shipped.
I've got plans for some of your parts too. I do have to ask though, there has been a rumor on the net that you were selling out and going to cut back to something like just making the linkage. Any truth to that???? I assume and hope not, especially since you are on here talking about what you have to offer. I am looking forward to a dual quad intake, linkage, and who knows what else from you in the future.
That was a conversation that MR62Buick and I had that was slightly misunderstood. I am not going to close or quit making Buick parts. I was selling off a lot of equipment that I was not using and was taking up much needed space. There has been an offer to buy me out on the table for quite some time. Albeit tempting;and some days it sounds better than others It is not likely that I would do that. What I have been doing over the last several months is revisting a lot of the current products and repairing/ replacing the molds and making much needed changes. I have been listening and I need to make things more efficient and faster to produce without giving up quality. A lot of the problem with things being slow at times is that some of these parts are very labor intensive to produce. My hope is that over the next few months you will see better turn around times and a few new parts from a more efficient company!
I know you had scrapped the initial single 4bbl design due to poor castings, any plans for a future single 4bbl manifold?
I scrapped it due to poor flow numbers; too much torque loss. I was having problems with casting quality which could have been resolved but combined with the poor numbers; It was abandoned. I have started on a new dual plane design that is very similar to the experimental buick. I hoped to have it ready by now but I am having trouble finding qualified/reliable help and I am short on extra time to work on it.
I didn't mean to steal the thread, but glad to hear that there is still going to be nailhead performance and dress up parts made here in the Northwest!
Hey Marty you still got that Superbowl hat I sent you when it was here in Detroit How much for the bell housing?
The experimental Buick is eerily similar to my 2x4 manifold so it will be close as it is. The runner length and orientation needs to change to work efficiently for one carburetor versus two. Not to mention the manifold needs to have a little less velocity than a 2x4.
