anyone know the stock gear in a 64lark v6 car?

    stock gear in a 1964 skylark....it originally a v6 car....also anyone put a ford 9" rear end in buick?....whole rear axle and all??/...or no

    Sondowner,

    My '65 2 door post auto a/c 225 ci V6 'Lark has an open 3.08 axle. believed to be the original.

    The 64 special 3 spd. stick conv I started with had 3:23 open
