    Hi,

I am thinking about buying a rare Dana 60 axle for my 3/4 ton diesel. Problem it is in Erie Pa. and the fellow wants it picked up before next week. They are tuff to find in the south, because most were used on trucks that see snow plow duty. This one is a '78/'79 Ford only.

If you know of a decent guy that might be able to pick it up and would not mind holding it for a week or two til I could get up there please shoot me an email. I do not want to impose on the buick community, but I was thinking that someone on the board may know of a business that may have a junkyard, wrecker, 4x4NUT, or a simular type of business. I expect to pay for this service.

Here is a work number if that is easier: (678)342-1812

It is a longshot, (about 650 miles!) and the deal may fall through, but I thought I would ask.

    Double thanks in advance.

can it wait until the 23rd?

Tom, I am going to Philly on the 22nd with a trailer and could swing up there and get it if he can wait that long. If sombody in that area could store it for you around that area. We can work something out.

    Hey Tom,

I live just outside of Erie. I can pick up and hold for you no problem. I tried calling, but the number you posted doesn't work. If you need my services shoot me a PM.

    Thanks to all

    HI,

Thanks to all, but I think I have it covered.:TU:

My unemployed goofball friend has jumped at this adventure instead of spending quality afternoons with Oprah. I doubt he can read a map and if her show up lost at your door, please feed and keep him. Just send the Dana axle back to Georgia.

Thanks for your kindness, Ed, Alan, and Pete.
