Can someone who owns a 68 tell me if they have a vacuum hose hooked up to a "device" just behind and little towards the drivers side from the aircleaner?

There is a screw hole and an empty space there on mine.

    Its not the firewall itself.

It's actualy on the AC/heat plastic cowling that is mounted on the firewall.

I would love a complete explanation of the 4 hoses that go through the firewall behind the glove box.

1 should be to the vacuum tank.

1 should go to the heater control valve.

    and the 4th one?

Thanks for any help OR comedy! ;) :beer

All that vacuum crap is for the Air Conditioning, which I don't have on any of my current '68's. The sportwagon I had with A/C had all that deal, didn't work. Got a '68 Shop Manual? shows you where all that stuff goes, if not, check out Here

Got a vacuum trunk release ? :Do No:
As Roberta stated: All vacuum hose connections are shown in the '68 Chassis Service Manual - along with all sorts of info on '68 Buicks :TU:
