As far as i know my interior is supposed to be Light Fawn. I cannot find a headliner, door panels or anything with this color name......PLEASE help i really need to get a headliner and a few other pieces ordered but i can't find me color! ou:
Saddle is a dark color thought right? My door panels are a very light color....almost like a beige......
saddle As I said that was 67 color trim so 66 might/must have been different - sounds more like the 67 color Dove
Casey, Trim code 163, for a 66 car, is a Dove white custom front bench with armrest interior. It is an off white color, and is sometimes called Light Fawn. It appears that Buick wanted to "pretty up" the color description so some Dealer Sales Brochures called it one thing, while factory manufacturing info often called it another. Hope this helps with the confusion. Duane
Does that mean it is a rare color? I still can't find anything listed under either of those colors...all i have found is fawn. I think i will just put a white headliner in it, the metal part along the top inside of the door is painted white and the vynil top is white so it should look ok. o No:
Casey, That color interior is not a rare color. You can call it Dove, Fawn, or Light Fawn, it really doesn't matter as they are the same color. If you are refering to the "custom" in my post, buick called their better grade interiors either custom or deluxe. All front bench with armrest interiors were custom/deluxe interiors, while the front bench without armrest interiors could have been custom/deluxe or standard. Duane
mine had front bench with armrest.......what color is mettalic parchment? I don't think i can find even a Fawn headliner
Ok, i just looked on Year One's website, and found the color fawn in the headliners. The color sample they put next to it looks WAY too dark.......
