....that clear Buick Wildcat brake drums? I'm wanting a set of 15" wheels with the 5 on 5 big GM bolt pattern. Minimum 7" width. There are several different style that will do for me. What I want is Torque Thrusts, Torque thrust rip-offs, Raders, Supremes, Daisys (called CP2000s I think), or anything that looks like a Haldibrand. I should note that if you have a brand new set that I likely can't afford them. LMK watcha got. Thanks :beer

Dan,can't help you with the wheels but may I suggest that if you can't find any for that date check on the different Chevy truck forums ad sections,5x5"bc is used by them too.

Good idea, but I wanna check here first thinking someone will have a set that they know will clear a massive Wildcat brake drum. The truck guys won't really know that for sure. But I will try the truck sites after I determine what offset will clear. Thanks!

I know that '73 and up to '87 will clear my Limited's 12" rotors and caliper and so will 15"x7" TTD's that I bought at the last Auto Fair.

    Topcat Got TORQUE?

The only thing you have to worry about is the backspacing. The fins in the front and the bottom lip of the rears backing plate will stop the wheel from fully going on if they have too much backspacing. I have a pair of NOS
Motor Wheel Spyders 15x6 for $200.00 if you want them...find some rears and you got a set.

Hmmm, A pair of 5-on-5 NOS Spyders for $200. WildBill, thats a seriously tempting offer. I take it you've tried a finned drum in them since your the Wildcat man. I'm gonna give this some serious consideration. Any centers??

    Topcat Got TORQUE?

One wheel was a store display with a tire mounted.....if you could find a pair of 15x7's you would have a set. I sold my pair plus a set of NOS caps to Guy Parquette so he could use them on the Kenne-Bell car. Probably should have kept them :Dou:

    Wildbill,

I'm gonna keep these in mind, but pass for now. However, if I score some wider backs, I'll be in touch ASAP. Thanks!!

Are you sure those Spyders are 5 on 5 bolt pattern. I always thought they were 5 on 4 3/4.

They come in all kinda flavors. I remember a full size 68ish Pontiac Wagon that had a set when I was a kid.
