Hey Paul.....hope you got the SS bars.... I sucked.... I went out first round with a bad redlight. Seemed like there was a difference in rollout, maybe something happened with the storm Sat night, them American Muscle was the first out on Sun. There were 3 redlights in a row in the left lane. As good an excuse as any I guess. ..... Anyway car ran perfect....loaded up suitcases in the trunk to slow it....on the redlight it would have been right there if I had shortshifted but since I redlit I ran it out 10.478 on the 10.50 index. Quickest car in American Muscle, for what that's worth... I was the only Buick powered Buick there....a couple SB powered Regals. Super cool pic of a Turbo TA leaving the line in flames....Ill see if I can find it online and post. Bruce

Ah yes, Alan...those were the days. That rear fit perfectly in the back seat area less the axles, not even that heavy w/o the axles....geez we had that thing changed in 2 beers!
Wow Bruce... The car sure looks impressive! Sorry about the redlights... My friend works at the track this Wednesday, so she will be picking up the bars from there and bringing them to me on Thursday at work. Thanks again for accommodating me.
Ernie, there's another NSCA (fastest streeet car shootout) race there this weekend. We're going just for Saturday. Should be alot of nice stuff down there. Bruce, are you going to Atco?
No Dominic, out of racing money right now after Cecil plus the Atco race is not NSCA it's PRO Edelbrock. They don't allow carbs bigger than 950 in Nostalgia Muscle Car. I bought a 750 Dominator but haven't tried it out. Last year they busted my balls for my scoop not being "period styling" and it was was 1/4" too high according to their rules (4 " limit). Do you run a Dominator? Bruce
