Up here in Canada we use Kijiji for alot of our online buy n sell for vehicles but since I live in eastern Canada I always keep an eye out on Craigslist for interesting Buicks in the US northeast. Sent an email off on this one with some basic q's on condition etc.on Friday but haven't heard any word yet from the seller, and no phone # in the ad to call.
The car has been listed for a while now on & off and was just curious as to if anyone from that region might have seen it or know of the car and it's condition. Kinda like that bench seat 4 cogger combo!

    Thanks!

Not sure of the condition of the car , but I do know that it has been listed for many months without any changes in the asking price. I don't live to far from there, keep me posted if you need any assistance.

    thanks

Well in the past week I've sent a total of 6 email requests about this '68 GS, 3 from my home and 3 from my work asking about more details or additional pictures on this car and so far no replies. Kinda makes one wonder why would someone want to sell a car and then provide no phone # for contact or not reply to any requests?

Thanks for the heads up Herb! I trust your knowledge of knowing a good car from a bad one, I'll let this GS pass.

The car has been for sale for at least 3 years. I believe a friend of mine was offered the car for 9 and he passed

    Jeff,
Have you seen the '68/'69 GS for sale in St. Andrews?
    Very nice.
Butternut creme, black vinyl roof, black interior.
Cannot verify but believe it's a 1, maybe 2 owner car.
    He's asking $24,500.

Yes I have Steve, it's a pretty nice one and I even got a chance to take it for a short drive this summer. Only problem I could see with it was the price on it was set by the owner's friend/appraiser guy who went on the test drive with us and while the price is a good price to have it insured @ it is a bit high in my opinion for what the marketplace is currently running on similar condition Buick musclecars. If I could eliminate this appraiser guy out of the situation (I'm sure he is gonna get a commission on selling the car) and do the deal directly with the owner that would work better for me. The car could use a good freshening up on a lot of little things (cracked wheel center caps, small dent in pass fender, new shocks, etc.) but I haven't ruled that one out just yet, plus it saves alot of transportation, import paperwork hassles, etc. to get that one in my garage.

Haven't seen it but looks very nice.
I know the current market is off substantially.
I have mine for sale but really don't want to give it away.
I may just leave it in storage next year.
    OR......

Friend has a Muncie 4 speed for sale. Take a couple years but I know I can gather up the right parts.
Might be a bit of fun shifting gears!

Long Winter ahead to consider my options on the car.

    Cheers,
