I need to get a ton of things rechromed and I found them through Google.

Was wondering if any one has had any experience with them?

    Thanks Joe

I have personally seen some of their stuff at car shows where they have a display. Chrome has a weird black look to it. No idea on durability but expensive as well. I would look elsewhere.

I used them to rebuild and rechrome some parts for my '57 Roadie and was very pleased with the outcome. Quality costs :dollar: These parts are over 5 years old with no problems.

Guess I'm alone with a :TU: for them.

All right heres the update for re-platers, I unknowillingly was allready doing business with some guy called Polished Treasures and finally put the 2 together and asked him if he does pot metal and he does!!! And claims to be the "Best":dollar: .He previously was restoring some anodized aluminum pieces and very top quality work on these pieces.:beer

So I will let you guys know how he does. Going to send some small parts first before I even attempt to send my very pricey taillights.

    Later:3gears:

I live in Maine and called Nu Chrome up and they quoted $800 for a skylark bumper. I said what if I do 4 of them will you give me a discount? He said 4 would cost $3200 No break at all.

I called Tri City plating. They quoted me $425 per bumper. They said to Just ship it to them with my name and number and they will call me when it's done.

Great work and reasonable and fast service.

    Go to Tri City Plating.

Yikes....DO NOT USE NU-CHROME if you want to see your parts again. They make promises they can't deliver on. They charged my credit card without authorization (over $3000 worth) and never did the work they promised. They couldn't even keep their lies straight. One week the work was beautiful (show quality) and finished (ready to ship). The next week they were having problems with said parts. In the end I had to send the Fall River Police and a representative in with a notarized letter to get my parts back. They ruined the bumper beyond repair and hadn't even touched the grill. All of the money I spend making custom crates and shipping resulted in 6-months worth of hell. If I only knew then what I do now. All I can do is warn others so they don't experience the same heartache.
