Just wondering if anyone one else on here ever has any luck on the Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets? In the last 3 months i've actually had 2 $100.00 winners along a few $50.00 to $20.00 winners in there as well.Seemed amazing to me!I had a hot streak going. On a dry streak now-Either a $1.00 or $2.00 winners or zip last few times i bought any.:ball: Still waiting to win that Power Ball.......p
The 7th ever ticket I bought in the WV lotto, I scratched it off and kept looking at and then asked the cashier.....did I just win 500.00? lol, she started screaming, YES!!..YES!!...it was cool...but it was the last ticket I ever bought and that was in 1986.
A friend of mine has a pretty good 'sob story' on scratch off tickets. He and another friend were at a convenience store....they had already payed for the gas, but my friend John asked his friend for a buck so he could buy a couple of tickets. The other friend started whining about not wanting to break up a $10 bill.......meanwhile, some lady in line pays for her stuff and gets a few tickets herself. She scratched off the tickets and hit paydirt - she won $10,000!!!:eek2: ou: Needless to say, breaking that $10 bill didn't seem like such a bad idea to our other friend after that!! I don't think John ever lets him live that one down.:spank: :ball:
I've hit $500 a couple times, but I'm sure I'm still in the hole considering all the tickets that have hit the trash can. I very seldom buy them anymore.
Funny this topic comes out now. My friend and coworker just told me a story of his about scratch off tickets. It was about 7-8 years ago, he bought 7 different tickets. 4 of them were winners! He was able to cash 3 of them at the store, but had to bascially force the guy to clean out his safe to do so, and go to Albany for the other. Ended up with over $2000 in winnings!!!!! The odds of that happening have to be in the billions I would think.
The lottery has just started here in Tenn. and I have won more than I lost. The first day it started I won about 70 bucks with a 10 dollar purchase
