My neighborhood Architechural Control freaks rejected my garage again. First they said it couldn't be steel so I resubmitted in siding/shingles. Now they say "it would not be in harmony with existing structures on your property and within the community".

This is a load of BS. I only have a 2 car garage and a barn and all these bozos have 3-4+ attached. One guy has 3 on upper level of house 2 below and a detached 4 car garage!

    Any ideas?

One guy even had the nerve to say my car hobby was out of control. GRRRRRR
He probably can't even check his oil in his Camry.

Well....the best advice is NOT to buy in an area that has such "Committee's" but its alittle late for that.

The only course you'll have is to take pictures and dicument other structures "Similar" to what you are proposing.

Usually the ChairPeople of such committees are retired and have nothing better to do with their time and energy than to exert their control over others

As hard as it may be, you need to make friends amungst them so you can hear "From the inside" what was discussed and who objected to your proposals

    .....or join the Committee

    If you cant beat them.....
