wee-eeelllllll, i was kinda looking for an apollo or 73-77 midsize buick. i think you'll need a maxi-van for that. p

other than that, stage one engine parts and 67 heads or the 67 exhaust manifolds. but who doesn't want those. :laugh:

i don't know about rescheduling, i'm pretty much booked for at least the next 3 weekends. we'll see.

I'm familiar with the Camp Douglas yard. Let me know when would be good to go up there. A wed or fri might be best. Carl has a lot of mid 60's Buicks & Olds, mostly B-bodies. A large group of GTO's (some are very picked over), I also found a ratty '70 GS 350 last time I looked. This week might be best as it will be getting colder and rainy by friday.

Sounds good. Let me know about Friday, no rain but kinda cold (no ticks!). Carl is a little odd, prices are "flexable", if he see's an IL plate, the price will reflect it. I'm relitively local, and have an ok relationship with the guy. So maybe we can get good pricing. He also has just come up with a new policy of looking at what your pulling to determine price, before it's pulled. If the price sounds high, don't pull the part.

Last time I went I got a dicast '72 grille, good shape but kinda pricey.

Is the camp douglas yard the same one I'm thinking of, the one between Madison and Milwakee? I think it was in Waupin or something like that. If so, I'm good for friday, we just need to come up with a time and place to meet. I think I'm about a 2.5 hour drive from the yard in Waupin, so whenever is good. I'll send you an email too.

if you want a peak at that yard look at the junk yard jewels section and look at a few cars in the yard and it'll show you alot of there cars , the last 3-4 pages are all them

htere are the 2 yards on hwy 18 by sullivan.
one is called jacks auto, they can be very unreasinable
and then on the west side of town on 18 is auto and truck salvage and parts and they are very easy to deal with.

Ok, so are the Waupin ones and the Sullivan ones the same? And where's the camp douglas one...wait nevermind, I think you said you don't know. Anyhow, gotta figure out which one(s) we're going to. :3gears:

 

the wapun one is off of hwy 151 north of madison.
the other 2 are between madison and milwakee on hwy 94 to sullivan.
wapun is 40 minites from me
the other 2 are about 1.5 hours from me.

Well, it looks like I can't go this friday...I guess I spoke too soon. The junkyard gods don't like me or something. My car is being stupid and running like crap (it always seems to happen all of the sudden o No: ) so it looks like I'll be spending friday getting it to run right again. Sorry guys, I'm retarded. But you guys could still go up / have fun / get stuff.
