Roberta, I own a 2005 Cadillac Escalade i have had nothing but problems with the navigation system i am on my 4th system and Cadillac and my dealer wont do or even stand behind there product so next Wednsday we meet with the auto line BBB iam asking for a replacement vehicle or my money back. I get the GM discount becase my father in law was an executive for GMC. The biggest mistake i have ever made was switching from GMC to Cadillac the treat you like sh!t i can see the asian market is kicking GMs a$$ i am all done buying GM. Dont take this personally GM needs to get there act together soon i spend 120 -150 grand every three years now someone else will get it but it wont be Ford.
FROM EXPERIENCE: 9/04 :Smarty: Roberta Helped me get my Sierra, and I have been Extremely Happy. Deal was Great, for what I wanted. 5.3, Tow Pac, Posi, Extended Cab, with SOME creature comforts. (What I wanted, not extras to boost Price) 2 warranty claims, for miniscule problems in Trim (1st repaired in under 1 hr at Dealership, 2nd about to be turned in). Sales Mgr. at Dealer (Beck & Masten, South, Houston) Took it as "Houst Deal" Only problem was Additional Discount to Previous Owner of 73-87 GM Pickups, (Letter of additional Discount, to clear "Law Suit", and THAT was a a Fight with GM Burcracy, NOT Roberta or Dealership). Problem resolved with Negotiation with Dealer. :TU: Truck gets 15-17 Towing a GNX W/Air Dam on Trailer, and was running 75-90+ at times. Roberta helped with some *paperwork* last summer to get me my current 1500 CC GMC 1500 5.3 2wd. With extra discounts and rebates... welp, I stole this thing, under 27k, out the door... Every option but leather, which I didn't want. Hasn't been back to the dealer yet... tow's anything I've hooked behind it so far, and I owned 4 boats, open car trailer, 3 Sea Doo's, motorcycle, yada, yada. Going to Salem towing my 18 Donzi at 78-80 it got 15-16 mpg TOWING on flats and 14-15 in the hills, never less than 14.5 towing in the mountains at 75++. Gets 15-18 not towing. Darn impressive. Too bad this GMC quality didn't carry over to some GM car lines... JH
