Thought I'd put up pics of two of my cars I had painted this summer. This makes 4/4 with new paint. Time for an enclosed trailer.. First is the Ramrod, that I entered in the MCACN show in Chicago in November...original owners class. Not original paint anymore. and second is my new cruiser that got painted over the weekend.
The convertible sat in a barn in central Illinois for 25 years, I'm the second owner...has 29,000 miles. Drives like new with the 455. Put on a new top, brakes, tires, paint, and new exhaust. Was loaded with mouse nests, think we finally got the last of them. LOL.. Wheels are from a Chevy pickup, not sue of the brand. Needs center emblems, can't seem to find any large enough.
Love that vert, just saw a young guy rolling in one on the way to work this morning, kind of encouraging, maybe they won't all be crushed when we're gone after all!
Very Nice !!! I had a '73 conv 88 455 for 28 years, Dad had a '75 conv 88 455, too. Great cars those Oldsmobiles... Mine neve failed to get me where I was going, and cranked firstime every time.. I love the blue on both those cars... :TU:
