'65 GS red post car in MI Anybody know this car or is the owner here?? A friend of mine, I work with is very interested, as his first car was a '65 Skylark 4-sp that he got right before the GS was anounced in '65.5. Looks like a nice specimen, we may go check it out in the next couple of days. Let me know if anyone knows anything about it, thanks Roberta

65 Skylark Gran Sport Roberta , This is my car and I hate to sell it . I also really hate to tell you this but I'm doing it so that I can do a rotisserie restoration on my 69 Road Runner ( that's a bad thing to say in a Buick room) but I've owned the RR since 1982 , it has 41K actual miles , and was a winner at Autorama years ago but is now showing it's age so I figured I'd go all the way and do a rotisserie . Also have a 71 Plymouth 340 Duster that my son and I are re-doing to show quality with alot of go (it runs 11.40s now)and we're looking for 10.90 . All that takes alot of money so the Buick is on the block . But I must say if I don't get the right price for it , it stays and the other projects will just take a little longer . George
Roberta , Your friend came over today to look at my car . I must say what a nice person . Both he and his wife were great to talk to . We found that between the two of us we had alot in common . Not sure yet whats going to happen with the car but will keep you posted . This guy needs a Buick .... he will just add to all the other nice people I have met as a result of owning this car . George

Roberta , After many 2nd. thoughts , after pulling the car off Ebay after it hit reserve , and after having what I thought was a good offer that just didn't work even though he never saw the car , I am now thinking of re-listing on Ebay . Still have the same problem . Really don't want to sell the car but some extra cash is needed to do what I want to for my other cars . We will see , but with all that comes with this car I'm still not in a position to give it away . I've learned that a Buick is a joy to own , only wish I didn't have the sentimental attachments to my other cars or one of them would go . George
