Hood painted like the motion 69 GS with the white center section.... Maybe Duane would like to restore this one
So the owner sent me a bunch more pics and several MPGs of the underside. I think its game over on this one. Think its worth 1K? Id be hard pressed at that except for parts, and Id really rather not go there. Comments? Luke sent me a bunch of C/L links... A hot rod 1970 Nova beater almost driveable, a nice 1965 Bonneville with tri-power and AC and a 1965 GP with AC and buckets and console. I hate to be a traitor. I know for a fact that Nova is smaller than the XGS! Appreciate the effort Luke! Go easy on the salt on that pizza OK? That stuff will kill ya! ws https://madison.craigslist.org/cto/d/1965-pontiac-bonneville/6766526452.html https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/d/1970-chevy-nova-project-may/6768626417.html https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/d/1965-pontiac-grand-prix/6752778631.html
And so another chapter closes in Mein Kampf... with regrets, this is what I just sent the seller.... ws Hi Deb... first of all I want to thank YOU, Alex and Shelly for taking so much time to help me with this project! Ive been dealing with this kinda stuff since the 60's and still consider myself a novice. However although this is really just about a parts car. Thats where I would be with it and being a member of the Buick clubs, I have guys interested in some of the stuff and some of it for me. In all honesty, and I really hate to hurt your feelings, after transport expenses etc and the net take on parts, I can only come in with a 500 dollar cash offer. Say yes and it will be gone. Otherwise I will have to pass. As much as Id like to see it saved, its just that far gone. Again, thanks much and please have a merry Christmas and a happy New year. Bill in TR
If I was a Pontiac guy I'd be all over those two. If the tripower was in the gold '65 GP I'd turn into one and be at the bank tomorrow.
