Hey everyone, I'm sorry about the abreviated title but it wouldn't allow enough letters. I have my '79 Buick Regal for sale here ( http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=57226 ) and there is a person in Iowa that wants it and is ready to send me payment for it and then he'd pick it up in the begining of Jan. He seems very sure of the purchase but I would like to offer the car up for inspection to anyone in the Metro Detroit Michigan area and ask them to give there 100% honest opinion of it's condition. I'm very honest but it just makes me a little uneasy for someone to put that much faith in my opinion and a few pic's. I'd really feel bad if he travled all of the way here and didn't like something that I didn't know about or I didn't think of it to mention it. So, If you are in Metro Detroit, Mi and are willing to come and see my car and give it your honest opinion. I'd be very gratefull and even pay for your gas and such. Thanks,
Josh, I'd offer but I'm in Flint, but on Tuesday, 12/21 I am traveling to Detroit Metro Airport for a 2:05 PM flight, I have the day off, I could come your way around 10-11 AM and look at the car on my way, but that is if you are able to be available. I remember the car well, as Dennis had it at the GS Nationals in Columbus in '99 and it was in the pit next to us. I've seen it, but not since then, just a thought. Let me know if I can help. Roberta
Thanks but Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be very busy for me from 8am - 5pm as my work is wrapping up some important stuff. Thanks anyway. Josh *Maybe I could have it in my drivway and my wife could let you see and start the car. BTW My house is like 10min from Metro airport so that wouldn't be too bad. Lets see where this thread goes in the next 24hrs or so and then talk about it.
Josh I won't be home from Alabama until Thursday. With the holidays and everything going on it may be tough to find time to look at it. I will have to wait and see what happens.
