I got my wagon project running but I want to get it running better. Currently there is no exhaust system on it and want to take it to a exhaust shop in Wilmington, IL but I would like to get it running better.

I'm sure it's a timing issue or vacuum leak. It will stay running but on top of the noise from the exhaust it seems to run rough. I don't have a working timing light at the moment and would rather pay someone to get it running right.

So if you know any good mechanics and even better that make house calls please let me know. Or a local shop would work out as well. I don't mind paying for a tow.

    WILL PAY CASH!!!!!!!

    I'm in Plainfield, IL

    Thanks.

I have a vacuum gauge and timing light you can borrow if you like.

Are you running a new distibutor and carberator?

    Chris,

Thanks for the lead. I'll give him a call tomorrow.

    David,

Thanks for the offer. I'm at the point of giving up and letting someone who can get it done and correct do it for me.

The car had points that I just converted the wiring but the engine itself was ran HEI prior to me getting it. It came without a distributor in it. It's a used distributor and the carb was on the same engine when the prior owner had it.
