A bit bored and no projects and always wondered what happened with 3 GS's.
These cars were seen by me in the early 80's and were just to nice to think they got neglected..
A 1969 Stage1 that I believe was gold or a stunning brown with brown buckets that was absolutely mint mint mint. I stress the silly mint comment because it looked like it was triple painted and triple chromed from the factory..
This story is a little sad on what happened but might bring out some info.
I mentioned MA because I was in the far left lane in Brookline on Beacon St. pointing towards Fenway Park getting ready to do a U turn over the trolley tracks and a older Grand motherly looking lady pulled up next to me on the right heading straight and just had a gleam of happyness and pride of this beauty as my friend and I were in my 66 GS and she saw us drooling.
Traffic started moving and as I was U turning I hear brakes screaching and that awful crunch. That poor woman hit somebody from behind with that beautiful 69. From far I could see the hood was dented pretty good and I assume grill, bumper damage that probably needed replacement. This car was just to fantasticly taken care of at that point to think it wasn't kept that way even after the repair work.

Another was a I think 72 Stage1 all black that was on Commonweatlth Ave in Allston MA that was double parked in front of a speed shop down a block from New England Speed equipment that some might remember..
This car was one bad beast and heavy modded and super lumpy cammed with what had to be all Kenne bell parts..I might remember a GSX spoiler on the deck but not sure. To be honest these guys were snobs as they shut the hood jumped in the car and just took off as I was asking a few questions. No words exchanged what so ever. Again a very nice car..

Last car was a 70 yellow GSX out at some body shop I think in the Revere area..The owner of the shop or worker was pissed as the black stripes were painted on and they weren't even painted proper and straight down the side, they were painted round over the humps of the wheel wells:rolleyes: This car needed a repaint if they wanted it right.

Just posting as these cars were just to nice to see someone let them go to waste.. Yeah its over 30 years ago but hoping its a small small world and someone might know where they might be..

Winters and climate up there were not kind to cars. Had a beater Chevelle in the mid 80's while living up there, in Framingham. Lots of scaly rust and thinning metal on the frame. Finally moved away roughly ten years later.

Your not kidding. Iv'e lived in MA my whole life.
Its just these cars were already over 10 years old and kept so great. "My" theory:cool::rolleyes: or want to believe was the older woman's 69 Stage1 would pass it down to her kids and grand kids??
Whether these were brought down from Florida or any other nice climate who knows.. Maby not the yellow GSX as was in a body shop lot.
Silly post but just so curious..
