I wonder if we have any cops around here or maybe you have a friend who is one and you can ask their opinion. Most places insist you run a front plate. Most front plate only show numbers with no stickers. I wonder if you would bother anyone with a plate like this. It would still be visible and mounted just under the nose of the car. Only the number would show, which is all the important info on a front plate. Some car come with molded in spots for a plate but some just look awful screwed to the nose of the car and out of place.
I'm not a cop but I don't think there would be a problem. We're supposed to have front plates around here and they don't even enforce it. You'd be one step ahead of the guy with no plate.
No, no, no!!! Don't do it. That will get you pulled over. All they need is an excuse. Around here, they call it "Improper Display of Plates." This includes propping it up in the windshield/rear window. I strongly recommend that you NOT do it!!
