Hi, my name is Centurynut and I would love to hear from other Buick Nuts. I have a 1977 Century 4-door that I am restoring and a 1989 LeSabre Limited. I have the only vintage Century kicking around here and I would like to hear from any of you out there who have one. I have a lifelong love for these cars and would never trade one in for a Honda. My Century has a 350 cid -2bbl and I've had it for five years. I love working on my cars and going cruising. Hope to hear from ya soon.
Hi. I have a 1976 buick century 2 door with a 231 V6. Rare around here too. The four doors are different looking than the 2 door centurys. Both, '76 century and '77 century look basically the same, with 2 doors, and the '76 and '77 4 doors (I think) look the same as each-other. Good luck on the project, and welcome aboard.:beer -Cody
me 2 Hello....I have a 1976 century also....but with a few factory stickers.....eheheheheh......dont mind the bragging i do.....
Re: me 2 My car looks like his, except for the fact 1, it isn't in that good of condition, 2, it is not a pace car(my all-time favorite century, the '76 pace car!), and 3, I think franks sports a 350 buick motor under the hood(am I right?). Alotta nice century's out there.:TU: -Cody
Cool, Frank:TU: here is a pic of a '77 regal......they look basically like the century for the two years, '76 '77, basically the same, except all '76 '77 regals only have the 350 buick engine, not the 231 V6. Didn't some '76 buick pace car free spirit "replicas" come with the turbo'd 231 V6, or was that just the 2 "Real" pace cars? Thanks -Cody
yes....only 2 original track cars made w/the turbo v6...as far as I know..... ...I wonder where they r ....who has em....?
That's exactly what I wonder. Maybe a museumo No: Doesn't buick have a museum in flint? Here is two pics of the turbo V6 that I could find::TU:
