Does anyone know if there is some kind of hidden antenna booster I can get for my GS?

The antenna is in the windshield of course. I have went over the entire antenna area with a flashlight and magnifying glass and cannot see any breaks.

It had an original '71 radio in it So I went with an awesome Buick reproduction radio that works GREAT if connected to a mast antenna. But the factory antenna makes it fade in and out when moving and station selection is terrible. This is not a digital radio.

I guess I could drill a hole in the passenger fender...:eek2:.... just kidding..:) don't want to do that to acommodate a mast antenna. I would sure like to keep it stock looking.

    Any Suggestions?????

Usually there wiill be an impedance matching trim pot to maximize the performance of the combo. Discuss that with the manuf of your new radio, find it and slowly turn it while listening to a weak station to best audio volume. Otherwise I suspect there is a problem with the antenna you have not diagnosed.

check out the custom auto sound website. I have never used, but did recently see a product write up on a hidden unit. I don't have a link, but it is easy to find with a goggle search. Good Luck
