I dont Know if this is going to work because I stink at this confuter but I found this carb setup at the pierce manifold home page and called them they said it would bolt to any 4 barrel manifold now I wonder :Brow: with enough money couldn't I get a two 4 bbl elderbrack manifold and stick two of these monsters on it. By the way Pierce said they only:eek2: cost 1695.00 each any one got some used? Well the Riv's coming along I starting to roll the fenders last night looking cool.Signed Ray
Thats not too bad looking. Might be cool with a couple on top of a Blower :Brow: The nailhead looks cool too.:TU:
Money will buy you almost any thing!!! I like both set-ups. A 2-4 Offy with set-up would be Crazzy man!!!!
Don't see the advantage... Nice-looking, but I can't see the advantage over a well-tuned "normal" carb... DCOE's like to feed one cylinder per side, and setting them up to feed a common plenum seems like you're short-circuiting the process. Now, if you had four of them suckers, two feeding each bank of cylinders, each cylinder with it's own carburetor bore, THEN you'd have something sweet! Set it up like a cross-ram...you could tune each cylinder individually...sweet! Can't imagine what it'd cost for a Buick, though...$$$$$...probably make EFI look cheap. On the other hand, I knew a guy who had an MGB with dual DCOE's and an enormous cam, at idle you could see blue flames in the intake horns...
There are 4 of them. Only one side was set up for the picture. If you look closely you will see the other manifold behind the distributor. I think he only had 2 carbs on hand. Each 'choke' feed one cylinder.
