Im in Baytown(East Houston) TX. I own a 1986 Buick Regal Limited coupe. It still has the original *blown* Olds 307, TH-200C, 7.5 inch rear... I found a Buick 455 short block/Chevy TH-400 trans case /Chevy 12 bolt mystery ratio posi rear end, so you know whats going to happen with the old "weight" Before that happens I have to find a COMPETENT welder/machine shop/beadblasting shop. First I have to yank the body off and replace the rusted gas tank/blast the surface rust off the frame/rebuild the front end suspension/Re-do the brakes/lines/weld in a sub-frame and 8pt roll, then drop the body back down sand,bondo, paint but not before building up the 455/400 Ive got my work cut out for me...
