There is a younger guy I work with that has what I call a Fast-N-Furious wanna be car. Well he talks about how fast his Toyucka Celica GTS is. And I'm constantly giving him crap about it, so he finally gives in and we go line'em up on a straight stretch that is about 1 mile long on a wide back road not far from work. So we get it on while he is in the hammer lane from a dead stop. I drop it all the way down to 1st cause I don't have the downshift cable hooked up to gas pedal yet. We take off and I'm walking sideways shift early and walk some more and realize that I'm about a half car ahead of him. Hit 3rd and around 4 grand call it quits cause we was gonna have to shut em down. I was 2 1/2 to 3 car lengths according to him and barely pulling ahead when we stopped. Well that little 4 banger non-turbo 6 speed car ran pretty decent and didn't even spin the tires much. I bet he woulda passed me if we went to much faster.:beers2:
lol that 4banger was no match, good power to weight ratio though..just no balls without forced induction..
