I finally felt up to the task of putting brake lines on PROJECT 86 and despite not having axles for the rearend or a driveshaft Eggs stopped in last night to fire her up!! Deemed succesful, we only have a small amount of things to track down. I need another battery and an alternator that will charge. 60 lbs of oil pressure at 2200 RPM, temp was a nice 170 degrees the whole time. (That Summit brand aluminun rad is a darn good investement for the $$$). Hence another BBB Regal will be on the road in a short amount of time. Just the kind of pick-me-up I needed after the accident. :3gears:
Davey, That sounds radical. No really, your 455 sounds rad!!!.I especially liked when it shot 3 foot flames out the exhaust. Too bad there wern't any rats (or mice) running around under that 86. :af:
That is the original RATROASTER motor remember!! Getting close to unleashing the beast. Back with a vengence! :blast: :blast: :3gears:
Why didn't you tell me about this?!?!?!? Was it on Saturday?? If it was I wouldn't of been able to come anyway. I was in Sillymonkey (Salamanca) NY.
Oh yeah, and you missed all the celebratory beers afterwards too!! :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer
I didn't get any Beer and I worked on the car for almost a whole day. :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball:
Yeah, you took off early to meet up with your brother Dave. I asked Eggs if he had to go somewhere and his reply was "to the bar so you can pay me some beers." !! Naturally the beer was flowin' and the pizza was HOT! :TU: We'll celebrate again when I get to lay down some 11's :beer :beer :beer :beer
with all of that bench raceing we did uda though we roasted every rat this side of the mason dixon line allready.A good time was had by all. :beer
You know when them Hollywood Knights have those meetings, there are all kinds of rats there and they are ALL on the laughing gas. Not a damn one of them run on all motor. That's one the reasons why I bowed out of that club. I was the only damn guy running buick out of 150, damn if they'll convert me. :3gears:
