    tubecatgs Finally a 4 speed......

1970 GS 350 but will have a 455 with M20 4 speed. Street car, grocery getter, not racing..

Seems the new Moog 5385 springs are pretty weak and gonna be fairly low. I think the ideal Moog would be a 5399 but they don't appear yo make them any more.

5379 seems to be slightly lower than the 5385.

I thought about Cargo springs but although the CC501 might be stiffer, it seems to be the sane stock height.
The CC507 cargo spring raises the rear 2 inches and much stiffer.

Looking for 1 to 1.5 lift.

Since I already have a new set of 5385s, anyone use a 1 or 1.5 spacer? Like this one? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gls-1620

    Thanks

I have not used that exact spacer but I have use similar. I'd drill a hole in the center and bolt it to the rear axle as a precaution.
