Hi all, I am new to this website it looks great. I have a 66 Skylark 4 door sedan that was given to me in 1990. I have started a restoration but is mild. I would like to do a frame off, with some custom work but funds are tight. Does anyone know the meaning behind the name on the air cleaner "Wildcat 375"? I have heard several explanations but have proven to be false. I know it is a 340 CI only made in 66-67, and thats about it.
Welcome to V8Buick! The 375 would have referred to the torque rating, not HP. Though I'm not sure if that is correct for a 66 340. Hey, didn't you used to be on TV? :laugh:
David, do you know of a resource I could access to give me this kind of info? I am also looking for suspension info, particularly drop spindles any help there?
Sorry, I don't have any help to offer re the spindles, just the "375" info. Try the Search function on the board for "drop spindles".
