Here she is- 1969 Buick Skylark- Antique Gold/ Buckskin split bench interior. 68,000 original miles. 350/2 bbl/ TH350/ 12 bolt (Canadian built car). 1 repaint. Haven't found any rust/rot. The car may look familiar to a few of you as it was Alan's (69gs400s) car- Goldielox. Very clean, solid, straight well operating vehicle. Has 15" ralleys, Flowmaster exhaust, Poston valve covers, correct colored 15" sport wheel, rechromed rear bumper, etc.
What I have planned: 69 GS hood, aircleaner, 430/ SP400/ posi (picking up next week), new front bumper, ? either a 68 or 69 GS grille (not to brag but I have 2 68 GS grilles, 68 deluxe grille, 69 Lark and 69 GS grilles)....f-41 suspension, aluminum front drums, detail stuff, etc....
I is GREAT to finally be able to get into an OLD car, turn the key and drive for hours without having to worry about it...

Also: a very, VERY BIG THANK YOU to Alan Wander for setting the deal up. Alan went the distance with this whole deal and deserves recognition. THANK YOU ALAN :beer :beer

Congratulations George, that is one NICE 'Lark! Alan took good care of it too, I'm sure. Couldn't believe how long it took to sell when he owned it.

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

    My Pleasure George :beers2:

I had kept a close eye on GoldieLox after I sold it. The new owner was only a few miles away ... afterall its not too often you pull an all original, totally solid 46K mile car out of Grandma Walton's heated garage. When He told me he was getting married and wanted to sell (no time to enjoy the car) I knew I had to find her a good home (If I hadn't bought my newest project/headache I would have bought it back in a heartbeat).

...and GoergieBoy was waiste-deep into another project that wouldn't be finished for three or four(TEEN) years with nothing BUICK to cruise in.

Its a match made in heaven and I wish you and GoldieLox many MANY happy years of cruisin' together :bglasses: :TU:

Righteous ride George! Congrats! :TU: I'm glad to see that car in the hands of a true blue '68/'69 guy.
