Greatings Buick folks my name is Gary,from San Francisco or otherwise known as the former home of Terrell Owens for you Eagles fan's.I've always been a Buick fan ever since my Uncle took me for a ride in his 56 Century when I was a kid.I enjoy working on GM stuff,Hate the "F" word (FORD).I restored a 55 Century 2 door I acquired three years ago and am now elbows deep in grease working on a 65 Riviera someone gave to me because his wife ordered him to get rid of it.I got it running as usual and I'm doing the "driveway surgeon" thing trying to bring my "new baby" as my wife calls it back to life.So far I've replaced the steering box,ignition switch,replaced a brake line that was patched with rubber hose and three hose clamps and repaired a thermostat housing that was held together with a pair of vice grips! Yeah baby!!! Well my wife asked why did he use vice grips? I told her because he ran out of duct tape! And so it goes,now I've run into a snag with the tranny...I got reverse but no forward motion.Sweeeet! I can't complain I'm sick I love this kind of stuff,nice to be amongst the Buick faithfull.Any suggestions on my latest snag just chime in,thanks Peace Out.
