I have my block and rotating assembly at the machine shop to get honed and decked. He is going to check all the machine work that they did over 20yrs ago to make sure it is still in spec.
Neither of us remember where the rods and mains were set at which brings me to my question.
I have made some upgrades since I knew I was changing my combo.
I was going to go with
.0025 on rods&mains and wanted to get your guys opinions.

70 block all oil mods except I did not open up the feeds to the mains.

    Crank was cut .010/.010,cross drilled
and rods resized with arp bolts.Done from original build.

Timing cover oil mods with stock gears and booster plate.

5/8 pick up tube with AM&P screen and baffle in TA 6qt pan.

TA cam bearings, Sealed Power rod and main bearings I bought off a board member.

I will also be running the oil feed line to the back of the block.
I do not plan on taking it over 6-6.2k max.
It will be seeing alot of street time along with some occasional trips to the track.

.0025 is fine, right where you want it to be. Rods could be a little tighter but no big deal. If your going back in, def open up the feeds for the mains and chamfer the saddle, then drill out the 2-4 bearing shell feed holes to lets say 13/32nds.
