Today, I attended the Long Island Buick Club's Annual show. The sky was threatening all day, and it sprinkled on us occasionally, and during the awards. The show drew about 70 cars despite the weather(which obviously scared some away). I took 2nd pace in the 70-75 Gran Sport class. Jason Cook (Buick64203) took third, And Kenny Bratko took first with his 70 Apollo White GSX. It was a really enjoyable day, and the sun was shining, and the roads were dry for the ride home.
98.3 FM K-JOY was there, with their mascot. He made the mistake of messing with my GS. :af: Sadly, he is no longer with us :spank: And I will be having Duck tonight for dinner
Was really cool to be at the Buick show and meet up with you guys and chit chat once again,it was a great day besides the up and down weather, congrats to you guys for the awards, beautiful cars both of you got,and some great looking Buicks there today. :TU: Thanks

That was great time. I really enjoyed it. Yeah, it was too bad about that duck. Larry and I had to give him a New York style "blanket party" out back for messin with the 70. The feathers were flying. Thanks Ron for not showing up. Without your blue beauty there I was lucky enough to get third place! But seriously, no car show or Buick event is complete without the Moonster! Well, as long as the "boss" is happy Ron.
The BOSS is happy............. now I can go to Bowling Green with a clear head and no guilt trips ! :TU:
Hmmm, I've seen Long island Duck on menus..... Congrats guys! And thanks for posting the pictures, Larry. So how was the street fair Moon? I'll bet you had lots of fun looking at all sorts of Farts n' Craps, er, Arts n' Crafts I mean. :moonu:
Well Mr. Lisk to tell you the truth, my wifes best friends son owns a nice restaurant that happened to be right across the street from the stage they had set-up for the live music. They had a massive tent in front of the restaraunt with tables and chairs. They were selling Food, Sangria and Beer and this was the main attraction at the street fair. So I stuffed some greenbacks in the little ladies hand and sat myself down at the best table under the tent and told her........HAVE FUN HONEY, I'LL BE RIGHT HERE !!!!! Well......the temperature was about 80.....the food and drinks were on the house......the band was ROCKIN'......and the LADIES WERE FIIIIIIIIIINE !!! I'm talkin' upscale N.Y. prime females. *(how come your back so fast honey, here's more money, take your time) I "DO" KNOW HOW TO DO A STREET FAIR !!!!!!!!!!!! :TU: :TU: :TU:
