That's cool! When I was in high school, one of my friends Dad built a VW dune buggy every winter. We would drive it all summer. Build a new one in winter and sell the old one in Spring. Drive the new one all summer
A friend had a bright yellow Meyers Manx, back in the mid 70, that was pretty sweet. I found out, too late, that he made a trade for a snowmobile, or I would have bought it.
Zombie thread revival! I've done a little work to the buggy, though maybe not as much as I would've liked. The body was stripped off (along with multiple other necessary components) and now it's awaiting a pan repaint and then all new wiring. That's my goal for the winter anyway.
