I'm looking for a good aluminum intake to replace the cast iron beaston my 455. Don't have $ for a new carb so I would like to have one for my current Qjet. Let me know what you have and how much. I don't have a snorkel aircleaner, so that is not a consideration. Thanks in advance for your help. Marty
your going to get as many opinions as there are manifolds.however,in an old copy of the gsxtra they ran a dyno/strip test with the offy,b4b,& performer on the same motor.the b4b won..hands down :TU:
John, I appreciate the offer. I don't think a 750 CFM carb is enough for my car and if it was, I'm guessing the carb needs to be rebuilt? I don't have any talent working on cars at this time. I am going to tackle replacing the current intake as a necessary challenge. I have a friend who will help me get everything back on when I get that far. Thanks again! Anybody got a B4B? Marty
I have a B4B brand new in the box. I paid around $325 for it on eBay a few years back before they were readily available. They are now in production again, and available from Summit and any of those mail order suppliers for under $300.
