I have a pair of skylarkdrums in excellent shape for looks. Both were turned already to be cleaned up. One is within tolerance yet has a couple/3-4 hammer marks where the wheel will cover The other is in mint condition and had to be turned out of tolorance to look good. If you had a show car and never drove it hard maybe ?? I have glass beaded them both to make them look good and have time in them. Priority flate rate boxes on both $15 shipping each and $75 each or $125 for both
Mike, I'm interested in the one you say is still within tolerance. How much meat is left on it? Enough to get a couple of years of occasional driving (3k/ year)? Do you recall what it maesured at and what the tolerance is. Thanks Aubrey
For a car that rarley sees the road both of these are good. Only one is good enough to drive daily on. It is up to you to decide what is good for your needs. Both cleaned up reletivly decent. and with a new set of bearings and races they should be fine for a car that hardly drives the one is 9.5 plus .028 the other is 9.5 plus .062
Mike, I have personally run Buick aluminum drums out past where yours are with no problems. I did have new brake shoes though.
