I think that they are steel painted aluminum color,you can see some rust at the dumps,the flanges are thin also.Maybe it was just a custom application,ratrod fodder maybe.
They don't look like they are made out of aluminum to me. Perhaps aluminized (coated). They have some evidence of rust inside. Can't say I've ever seen aluminum do that.
Boat manifolds typically have the collectors higher than the heads so the exhaust can go out the transom, but who knows.
